* UPDATE *
==FALL PLANTING CANCELED===
Unfortunately, we are unable to get the mulch now that is needed to protect the plants over the Winter. So, we will be scheduling a planting in the Spring instead (around April). We will provide more information as it is available.
The CHS PTSA has a landscape plan thanks to Panetta's Landscape Supply in Westland! We are asking for your help to cover the cost of plant materials to make this plan happen! You can select the plant(s) or materials that you would like to donate and make a contribution to the CHS PTSA to cover their purchase, or you can make a donation to cover materials as needed and we will use those donations to cover the cost of materials that still need to be purchased.
The plan is ambitious, and the results will be worth it! An improved view along Newburgh Road is one benefit, and an improved courtyard that will be visible from Newburgh and from inside the school is another benefit. The courtyard will also be able to be used as an outdoor classroom!
We will accept donations throughout the fall and winter (donations are tax deductible) and once we are able to cover the costs of materials, we will plan for installation in the spring of 2016. If you would like to make a donation now, you can send in cash or a check, made out to Churchill High School PTSA in whatever amount you would like. If you would like to purchase specific plant materials, please add a note to let us know, and you can write "landscape" in the memo line. PLEASE send donations in an envelope clearly marked CHS PTSA - Landscape Project.
To send donations by USPS - mail to: CHS PTSA Landscape Project 8900 Newburgh Road Livonia, MI 48150
Watch for updates here on our website. Let us know if you have questions. Thank you for your support as we strive to make Churchill even better for our students, staff and community!
Please note: prices and plants are subject to change based on availability. Every effort will be made to complete the plan as presented, but substitutions may be necessary.

It's time to update our Bylaws. In accordance with IRS and Michigan PTA rules, the Churchill PTSA must review and approve our bylaws every three years. The attached bylaws were presented for review at the September 22, 2015 meeting. We will present them for adoption at our October 27 PTSA meeting. Meetings are held at 6:00 pm in the LMC. All are welcome to attend.
The PTSA is working on a landscape project for the Churchill High School grounds. We are looking for a Landscape Designer/company to assist us in designing a plan and the installation once we have raised the funds to cover installation. Please refer any interested landscapers to Julie Thompson firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you!
